Five Ways to Gain Focus and Succeed at Achieving Your Goals

When faced with difficult tasks, we sometimes fail to focus, which ultimately keeps us from achieving our goals.

1 – Set a Goal. Make it clear to yourself exactly what you hope to achieve. Be as specific as you
possibly can be. This will help you stay focused on your goal. Don’t be vague and general, you will only give your mind a reason to procrastinate and not think of this goal as all important.

Article Marketing: A Method That Works

There are a thousand methods that we could use to grow our Varolo villages, but, we are limited by time and by just not being super human. I know I am not. So, I find that it's best to narrow things down to the few that work best for me. I love to write, so, I have found that article marketing is working better for me than placing classified ads.

So, how does article marketing work? The best thing to do is find a few content providers who will allow you to promote your online program; in this case, Varolo. Some of the ones I suggest are Associated Content by Yahoo, Triond, Helium, Bukisa, and there are number of others. Write informative pieces not just a 'here is my affiliate program, come and join it.' Those type of articles are a turn off to most readers; and admit it, just plain boring. Give your audience a reason to read the article. Answer a few questions, like, what can they expect from the program? How much money can be made? How much time does it take? Don't be afraid to be honest. I tell readers straight up-front that Varolo is NOT 'get rich quick' - it takes hard work. It's NOT a job, it's a business opportunity. Well, won't that run them off? Maybe, but, I would rather a villager not feel deceived after he joined and quit thinking that Varolo is a scam or gimmick.

After you give the readers something to think about, then, shoot your sign up link out there for them to sign up. Don't forget to offer your support after you have sign ups.

Check out a few of my articles below:

And the plus side of article marketing is that the content provider will allow you to submit your articles, then, turn around and pay you. The payouts are small, however, if you build up a portfolio of 50 or more articles, the small cents add up quickly with a little promoting. Make money writing articles.

Keeping Your Eye on the Prize

While we build our village, there is no monetary incentive to watch the ads. However, Varolo has put in place a few incentives that too many people are over looking.

1 - Each ad view brings one or more entries into the weekly jackpot. I have noticed that some ads bring more entries than others. Since I have been with Varolo no jackpot has been less than $350. I don't know the odds, but, I believe that the odds are greatly improved if 100% of the ads are viewed than if ads are not.

2 - Each ad view adds points to the user's account. These points can be redeemed for prizes. I personally have my eye on the $10 Walmart gift card, which requires 20,000 points and the Phillips 7" Portable DVD Player, which requires 118,000 points.

While I only have 14 cents in my vault, I have 5825 points and for this week, so far, I have 97 ad views, with 121 jackpot entries. I always make sure to watch 100% of my ads. My focus isn't the money, but, the intregrity of the task at hand. The main task, of course, is building a healthy and happy village who are willing to watch the ads and work at building a village of their own. When we work together, it's a win, win situation. Keep your eye on the prize and don't give up.

Creating Targeted Advertising Campaigns

To make your promotion of Varolo more effective, it is a good idea to create targeted campaigns. Most of the time, we send out promotions to a general public and hope that it reaches someone who is interested. However, if we create targeted campaigns, we can narrow the field and concentrate on a particular potential user. We can all agree that even at certain times of the day, our audience will change. Most working people review the job and business opportunities in the morning. However, a stay at home mom, may have the opportunity to check later in the day. While, teenagers and college students, because they are in classes during the day, may not read about these opportunities until late in the afternoon or evening.

Acknowledging these changes in the demographics helps us in how we place ads and what those ads will say. Let's say that I want to appeal to the teens and college students. This is the time of the year to do it. A lot of them are looking for something to do to make extra money or just to keep busy through the summer months. As promoters, it is our job to show them how signing with Varolo is not just a summer event, but, a way to create residual income that will take them throughout their school years and beyond.

The greatest appeal for a teen or college student is that this business opportunity is free to join. The time investment won't keep them from enjoying their summer activities and friends, and they will have the opportunity to win huge jackpots and prizes. How nice is that for summer adventure? This is also a way to stay connected with those classmates, who they may not see during the summer months, by getting them to join their village and keep in touch up by email, blogging and message boards.

Besides online classified ads, a great way to reach teens and college students is by promoting in the places that they hangout. Good places to hang flyers would be game rooms, mall bulletin boards, skating rinks, libraries, and campus bulletin boards. An offline place to promote is school newspapers, while promoting online with Myspace, Facebook and teen chat rooms. Of course, it is not wise to go onto high school property without permission, but, you could call the school's guidance counselors and let them pass the information to interested students. As always the Varolo opportunity has endless possibilities; the only limitation is imagination.

Simple Offline Ways to Recruit Members for Varolo

The quickest way to grow your Varolo village is to get as many people to go to your referral page as possible. With the high cost of gas and lack of employment, there are a lot of people looking for extra money right now who may not get on the internet everyday. So, going offline to do a little Varolo recruitment may not be a bad idea. School is letting out soon and teens and college students alike, are looking for extra income to get them through the summer months. So, I have come up with a couple of offline methods:

Go to the VistaPrint site and take advantage of the free business card offer. Hand out your new cards to everyone that you discuss the Varolo program with. We come into contact with people everyday, at work, on the bus, at the doctor's office, etc. Strike up a short conversation and hand them your card. You might want to ask if they have a computer in your mini banter. Even if they don't have one, they can pass the card on to a son or daughter or neighbor. VistaPrint also offers other promotional items, such as, car door magnets, pens, t-shirts, flyers and mugs.

While you are waiting for your free VistaPrint business cards to arrive, create some tab flyers. Design an interesting body for your flyer with the Varolo logo and brief information about the benefits of the Varolo program - emphasizing that the program is FREE and has weekly jackpot drawings. On each tab print something like 'Win Prizes and Money' or 'WORK AT HOME' and your affiliate link. Place your tab flyers in every place that will allow you to do so, like laundromats, grocery stores, college campuses, community centers, gyms, etc. Make sure you ask for permission or your efforts will surely end up in the trash before the end of the day.

Is Varolo Legitimate?

APRIL 25, 2011 BY ADMIN

We have thousands of new users join Varolo every day, but the number one question new people have is “is Varolo legitimate”? Many people say “my mom told me about things that sound too good to be true”. Let us break it down for you.

1) Varolo is Free. You will never have to pay a penny EVER. Just ask the thousands of users that have already earned money from Varolo

2) We don’t sell any of your information and we won’t SPAM you or sell you to SPAM lists. Read our privacy policy to learn more. Our CEO is a well known information security and fraud expert. He feels very strongly about keeping people’s information private. Even advertisers don’t have access to your specific information.

3) While on the surface, it might appear to be easy to earn money from a free website, the reality is you do need to do 2 things to be successful with Varolo. You need to invite others to Varolo so you can earn from their ad views. You need to watch (on average) 10 minutes of ads/day. That is it! It does take some effort. It does take some time each week. And then give it some time for your village to grow for you to begin earning good money. We are talking about splitting fractions of pennies across a group so it takes lots of users and lots of ad views to make good money. But it is up to you! There are no limits on how much money you can make with Varolo. Are you dedicated enough to pay your gas bill? Pay your car payment? Make your house payment? It is up to you!

4) Yes, you can earn points for each ad view you and those you sponsor view. These points can be redeemed for prizes in addition to the cash earnings from the village (see #3)

5) Yes, each ad you view is like getting a lottery ticket and each week we give away a jackpot. Start watching ads and you might be this weeks winner. You don’t have to have a village to be entered to win the jackpot. You just need to watch your ads.

6) Yes, if someone in your village wins the jackpot, you also win a jackpot! You can earn 10% of the jackpot amount if someone in your village wins. That is right, the larger your village is, the greater the chance you have of winning part of the weekly jackpot.

Still don’t believe? Well check out the Varolo reviews by real users at: http://www.varoloreviews.com. You can also check out the site http://www.varoloislegit.com for articles and comments by real users as well.

Varolo is totally free. We are as transparent as possible explaining everything about the business. Advertisers want to reach you and we will give you a revenue share on anyone you refer to Varolo that watches ads. Plus you can get discounts and coupons on the products and services you are interested in anyway.

Every once in a while there are ideas that change the way things work. Look at Google, Facebook, Ebay, Paypal, and YouTube (just to name a few). These companies have changed the world with good ideas. Varolo is no different and you can be part of that change. We would encourage you to read “The Varolo Vision” that Kevin Prince, the Varolo CEO wrote to understand what he is trying to do with Varolo. Lets all work together to make life better for everyone.

Connecting and Creating a Branding with a Facebook Fanpage

I am quickly approaching my two week mark with Varolo. While the journey is like peddling up a mountain on a unicycle, it is one that is full of adventure. I am learning something new everyday and connecting with and making new friends. So, that makes the journey worthwhile. I seem to be stuck on 6 sign ups and none of them are working. I have decided to take a different approach. What that approach is, I will reveal at a later date. Today I would like to discuss my Facebook page.

If you don't already have one, I suggest you do so. This will help in developing your branding. There are a few simple things that you can do to 'grow' your new fanpage.

1. Ask 25 or more of your Facebook friends to 'LIKE' your fanpage. Doing this will then allow you to create a custom name for your fanpage, which will make your page much more appealing to prospective fans. Also, you will be able to continue your branding. For example, my village name is Varologlo, that branding will be carried out throughout my journey with Varolo. If you google, Varologlo, you will see the footprints that have already been laid.

2. Ask those 25 to use the 'Suggest to Friends' option on Facebook.

3. Send out invites from your email lists.

4. Link your Facebook fanpage to other networking sites you join.

5. Blog about your Facebook fanpage, as well as, promote your blog on your page.

6. Engage your fans by asking interesting questions.

Slow and steady growth is what you want and need. Stay encouraged and keep the journey interesting by meeting new people. Make interesting and useful comments on other fanpages. I visit other Varolo member pages everyday. Just to say 'Hi', so, let's have fun and keep our eye on the prize. You can visit my Varologlo Facebook fanpage here.
